EXPERIENCE:
Experience with the hands-on analysis, design, integration and deployment of line of sight microwave and/or similar communications systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Writing technical specifications for systems/products and integration of products into equipment cabinets
- System design, which includes generation of system block diagrams, system interconnect drawings, wire-run lists, assembly drawings.
- Will work with mechanical engineers on packaging of cabinet mounted equipment, shelter mounted equipment, and design and deployment of microwave antenna systems.
- Must have experience in generating test procedures and working with technical publications specialists to generate system manuals.
- Must be available for business travel domestically and internationally.
- Familiarity with environmental requirements and packaging techniques for mobile systems is a plus.
- Familiarity with over-the-horizon microwave (troposcatter) systems is a plus.
REQUIREMENTS:
BSEE required (MSEE a plus) plus 10 years of system design.
